I really like lustrous coins!

I am a huge fan of extreme luster. Especially so when it is on a proof with fields that look like glass. I found a coin that has these characteristics in spades! It is a foreign coin but was struck in the U.S. Any thoughts on what I believe to be a truly amazing coin. Some might even call it a Moose. Too make it fun you can guess the grade if you like.

I too like luster. I think it presents best on copper. Indians and Lincolns with red luster can be breath taking.
Mmmmm! Shiny things!
Luster means a lot.
You're preaching to the choir...

I also am a lover of luster.... Very nice coin... Cheers, RickO
Love luster too but prefer silver coins... Especially Morgans and Franklins. There aren't many things that are prettier than a old silver coin looking like it just came off the press...
Great half centavo. I’ve got a 1903 in 64rd with a lot of luster. You ought to consider a US Philippine set. Some cool coins in the set plus hard to get high grade examples on some.
67?
Collector, occasional seller
Chris is correct. It is the only 1 graded 67RD for the date. It is in an OGH and I believe it is under graded. There is only 1 68RD graded for the entire series. This coin might possibly be the finest of the entire series! The color difference from obverse to reverse is really cool looking in hand. The coin is so attractive it is hard to put down!
That is gorgeous. Looks like it has 2 different shades of RD, but still both are equally deserving of the RD designation. And in an OGH makes it even cooler (and takes away question of color stability).
"I really like lustrous coins!"
I dont!

I think the one of the best lustrous coins out there is the early S mint morgans.
