Looks better than 62 to me typical nice 1927, but not certified.

Fully priced for a common date raw Saint. For a few dollars more, get a slabbed MS63.

You could also try to negotiate him down if this coin wasn't on ebay because I'm sure the coin might grade AU on a bad day at any TPG or might even be a very very good counterfeit. There's definitely better out there and I think that even if the coin may look nice on ebay, there's a reason why it is not in a slab.
Also look at this overpriced MS 66 Saint, you could go to HA or APMEX or Legend (if they have any) and get a CAC'ed Saint for a couple hundred more.

Good chance the seller used the "sell similar" listing feature and is unable to make edits to the listing because there are bids.
Buyer & seller will work things out if there is a misunderstanding.
The coin looks genuine and mint state. I messaged the seller and he indicated he would correct the listing.

Thanks for advising us! I don't mean to wrongly implicate someone for listing something with misleading information and I apologize if it was seen this way by anyone, but my posts were intended to reflect the fear I have when it comes to pre 1933 gold. Saints can be a big ticket item and there is a lot that can go wrong.
These have been selling strong on ebay recently even after the big drop in the precious metal price. It will probably sell strong regardless as everyone can see it is not actually certified.

I have no idea why someone would pay full price on eBay for a common date raw Saint without returns when there are thousands of graded 63 and 64’s available for the same price or a few more dollars.
