Is this a 1918/7 D Buffalo?

Going through a small group of Buffalos I came across this guy. I want to believe this is a 18/7 but I’m not sure. The only thing you can see is the lower circle of the 8. It’s not round but has the flat left side like the 7 overdate. I don’t want to acid date it if the consensus is that it is. This is the best picture I could get. Thanks for any help.

Sorry-no.
The Mint mark placement is one way to tell if this is it or not. Bring up a picture of the Mint mark on a confirmed example and check MM placement to your coin.
Yes, post a reverse pic... the mint mark is key.
There was only one reverse die used with the overdate so 100% show that MM position.

Mint mark doesn't appear to be in right location. Also the top of the 8 on obverse would be flatter.
This variety can be attributed even when the date is barely visible. And not by examining the reverse at all. The inner loops of the "8" are very distinctive on the overdate.
Like @kevinstang and @koynekwest said, the mintmark confirms it is not. On a genuine 18/7, the 'D' is much further to the left and tilts slightly to the left.
Looking at both sides, I would say it is not the 8/7..... Cheers, RickO
Sorry did not see die crack coming out of braid along the chin and also no spot near the letter m, and also the mint mark is wrong.
I agree with all the others.
