Hmmm. Pulled 3 rolls out to look
at. Oldest date 2000
That's what they look like when I go through sealed bank rolls ... that I reroll and put back in the box after going through them including worn wheaties ... then bring them back to the bank.
I think a lot of roll hunters can lattest to doing that.

These all look like rolls that a customer rolled and turned into the bank, change that was collected in jar or bottle over time.

Shieldbacks: Boring.
Wheatbacks: Exciting!
I have another box lol. havent search yet! they have 2020 in them. just got done with nickel box
I'm sure I will find some wheaties
Nickel boxes with Monticello exciting!
Nickel boxes with buffalo backs, boring.
The fact that the oldest date was 2000 isn't a good sign. I hope the remaining rolls contain coins that were saved much earlier.
if they are customer rolled, i wouldn't expect any wheats
Yep. The last cent box I searched I found 10 wheaties short of two full rolls! Good Luck.

I know everybody likes wheaties, but for variety hunters, the really expensive doubled dies are with the memorials.
