Just a heads-up

chesterbchesterb Posts: 961 ✭✭✭✭✭

I am quietly assembling one of the best circulated type coin collections out there right now. B)

So there...I don't want anyone to be jealous or stand in my way! When I go to sell there won't be any of the bicentennial or RPD stuff that people are posting nowadays. Just good old-fashioned original coins in all their PCGS CAC goodness!!! :)

The ultimate type set? Each coin has a different type of grunge on it...but who will step forward and accept the challenge? :o

Great. Now we’ll have to start debating over Natural Grunge (NG) and Artificial Grunge (AG) when all that matters is that it’s GA (Garbage Acceptable).

I think you would be more appreciative if you saw my collection of mule grunge coins...

I think you need the 5th star by your name to proceed with a set like that. ;)

+1 I'm glad you're doing well! BUT it's going to take more than your karate kicks to stop me from assembling one of the more attractive circulated type sets in the country! Best to just stay out of my way...higghhyyaaaa!!! B)

Conder101 was banned in January 2017. This was an unfortunate loss for the forum. :'(

I cannot speak for the OP but an exhaustive search of four parking lots has yielded two amazing coins for my parking lot set. In fact the nickel is certain to be a cornerstone piece while I may be able to do better on the cent, and these two have given me the inspiration for my set name. Ready... the Sparkles and Crud set!! Enjoy. B)

First, I have to once again apologize to the forum members because in the past month I have (in a sneaky way) added to what I can only describe as the best circulated type set out there. You best just not get in my way because it is obvious this has turned into a "thing"; a real bonafide "phenomena." For obvious reasons I'm sure you can all appreciate, I cannot show the progress of my intense (and sneaky) acquisitions but, just know, it is real and it is happening.

    Thanks,
    Chesterb

Some of the best coins in the hobby are sub 50, sub 20 stuff. I bet a chunk of collectors have a lifetime all-time favorite list with some $1-$20 coin in there.

I'm just happy to see the enthusiasm. Plus some of that stuff is legitimately quite nice. I love pieces where the poster has a history or special memory.

That being said, nobody will ever get their mitts on my circ and dirty workbench oily irony gross war nickels from grandpa.

Looking forward to see what you come up with.
