Well, Dam, Pond, Lake or Can, You must have a question to point out about your photo.
I'm waiting, and now I'm up late for a date. (LOL) These D's are driving me crazy. (LOL)
If its on your mind, shue it out.
I suggest you return this cent to the parking from where it was found.

I didn't know this was a financial advice site, I must be in the wrong forum. I thought this was a discussion for a new variety and errors...
Sorry to say but it not a variety or error. It’s damage that was made after being made at the mint.

It’s a damaged cent with no value over the face value of the penny. Just spend it.
I'm sure the OP already knows this. Not sure why he's trolling us with this severely damaged cent.

I think there are many members who can help you with you with this coin. However, you need to provide additional information on what type of help you're requesting. If you can be more specific, then I believe you'll get accurate responses. However, if you're just playing games, please stop now.
That cent is not a variety or error. It is severe Post Mint Damage (PMD) and truly may have spent considerable time in a parking lot being run over by vehicles of various sizes and weights. No numismatic value or interest. Cheers, RickO

Jedm are you being sarcastic like almost everyone else or are you one of the real numismatics? Please be real...
I think @JEDM provided a reasonable answer to your question. If the answer wasn’t clear, then you should ask him for clarification. Also, I believe the standard/preferred term for someone who collects, and studies coins is a Numismatist, not a Numismatic. It may just be a typo or autocorrect issue, but I provided the information just in case you weren’t sure. Hope this helps

My vote is garbage disposal, like much of the OP's collection . . . . .
Honestly it is unique. We all know it's not as minted of course. It's been engraved and malformed by the forces to which it has been exposed. Your reasons for choosing what you want to include in your collection is certainly your own prerogative.
I gave @emeraldATV a pass thinking he was actually trying to fit in. But now it’s clear that he is your buddy so audios.
I hope the Mods step in and do their job very soon😊

No Doubt, someone's lucky cent that didn't work for the last asked upon request. (Has the TELL TALE scratch off ticket circulated wear)
Save it.
Upon further inspection with a 10x loupe...
Has a certain quality an old school John Deere mechanic would appreciate.
After y'all scratch your heads for a while, I'll enlighten you all with the answer.

It has been a while since the forum has had a good trolling.
I guess this is a sign that the lockdown from the COVID is loosening up.

I would guess it was in a washing machine then ended up in traffic.
I wonder how @HeatherBoyd likes this coin and what she thinks of it.
Hopefully she’ll chime in and give her opinion.
Totality of "interesting" coins we have been asked to comment on thus far . . . . . . .

Well, the reverse of the dime and the obverse of the wheat cent were struck sideways.
The first coin, the Lincoln cent, is the InSinkErator die variety, or would that be a planchette variety . . . . . . ?
