I would keep it if I found it in change. Because I'm a Jefferson nickel addict. Only problem is that it would wind up in my change bowel....then I'd spend it. It's not worthy of an album. Unless the album is comprised of change finds only....5¢.

A nice nickel...Nice means good condition for it's age.... a casual change finds album would be a good place for it. No numismatic premium ....Cheers, RickO

But seriously though, I'm starting to get the whole album thing. Its not only about be able to enjoy your coins but rather filling a void for coins not worthy of plastic but too nice not to keep.2 -
Give it to one of the YN’s that doesn’t seem to post anymore.
I found many coins like that in change in my day. Try to remember that feeling, if they lose a a dollar or two on 5 dollar coin big deal.
In fact if they’re reading this PM me and I’ll send them various coins to see what they might want to collect
I have my first coin from the 60s that started me collecting, I’ve got coins worth thousands now but it was that coin that made such an impact. I’ll never get rid of it. I’m sure the .65 was a major rip for the flea market vender.
There’s many that have 1 coin worth more than my 55 years collecting, I admire them but really I feel fine.
You’ll never find a moving van behind a hearse as they say, wisdom is a life long lesson.Heck I even signed up for some approvals that brought the world of coins to me, wasn’t an internet back then. My comics told me I could kick sand in people’s face, x-ray vision glasses, or earn a bike selling all occasion cards or the girt. What an exciting time it was learning the ways of the world.
Looking back I have very found memories of those times as I approach my demise.

Get yourself a Dansco and start a Jefferson nickel collection! Started this collection last year coin roll hunting.
I have slowly upgraded it and will have all BU coins most likely by the end of the year. I told a Dealer what I was looking for a few months ago and he went out of his way to bring in about 50 Pre1960 BU nickels so I could upgrade. I Picked out what I wanted and he sold them to me at a very nice price. I intend to give this to my best friends daughter on her 5th birthday.

Not that I post much, what I think really doesn’t matter. Someone wants to win you win.

Nickel is the only investment you can make which is "no lose." It is worth slightly above 4 cents for the copper and nickel. It will eventually be worth much more. If I am wrong, you can spend it.
