2000 D Roosevelt dime RPM

Has anyone ever seen this before?

    What's it look like then? I'm not totally positive but i don't think anything else in the coin was doubled but ill take another look and get some pics to post.

    A @JBK said, the mint last year the mint hand punched mintmarks into working dies was 1989. Now, the mms are part of the working hub or possibly the Master Die (I forget which step), so there can no longer be RPMs or OMMs. The die looks like it has been used, so it could be Die Deterioration Doubling, which is common and not considered an error

    It may look like a repunched mm, but as explained, it CANNOT be a RPM.

    If you're going to search for errors, it is really helpful to take the time to learn how dies and coins are made. It takes some time, but as you become more knowledgeable, it makes it easier to sort real errors from post mint
    anomalies.

    advice: research your coins first with websites, books, and such before that way you know what you may or may not have

    Look at 1:00 to 3:00 on the D,
    and in the lower left side of the D.

    Those are both contac /circulation 'hits', imo.
