Mystery Liberty Cap Half Cent (I believe i already know the Variety)

When looking at pictures of this Liberty Cap, I just purchased, I can already hear most folks asking:

"Why would you spend good money on that worn, corroded, and damaged, piece of junk?"

I will be posting better pictures of it when I receive the coin and a discussion of what I believe it is.

Anybody out there care to venture a guess in the meantime?
