So I'm not gonna go crazy and start posting a bunch or microscope pics. I was curious to see how the lighting is on different coins though. So I was looking at Lincoln varieties and was looking at my 1982 Lincoln Sm Date Zinc and I found this die crack. Anyway, I noticed the closer I get to the coin, the less true color I get. The further away, the color comes back. Anyway, here's the die crack. Lol

Nice crack and color!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I don't know anything about coin photography, but maybe a difference in color because of the different angle of the LED light hitting the coin?
I think mostly because it gets too close and the light is not able to properly light all fields and shadows it.
