Tell the seller that a panel of numismatic experts examined his photo of the date area on his coin and were unanimous in their conclusion that it is not an 8/7 overdate. Or, better yet, you can just forget it and move on.

i've just had the displeasure of looking at the rest of this goofball's listings.
the pattern seems to be sane, sane sane, insane, sane, sane sane, insane.....
This dude is living in a fantasy land. I sent a message to him telling him his quarter is not an overdate. Of course, he insists it is. He has a few non-doubled dies listed as well and his prices are insane!

"I appreciate your input! I took it down this morning, due to massages about it not being 8 an over 7 date. I believe it is, in my honest opinion. The top of the 7 is fully visible. I can't really get a great picture of it tho. Hard to do with a phone and magnifier. The middle of the 8 is missing also. It doesn't connect, like others I've seen. This puzzles me too.
Yes, I agree, have it graded!
Thank you again. Your the most pleasant person I've spoke with so far."

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I see an 8 with a tiny crack running along the top. No cigar.
Pass on that one.
Not the 8/7.

Not the overdate
Pass move on there's nothing to see here
I'm not even sure it's a genuine coin, let alone the overdate.
I messaged the seller. But I'm sure it won't matter.
Lance.
Seller's coin:

Real one:

Definitely not the overdate....Useless to try and reason with some of these sellers....Move on. Cheers, RickO
