    I see an 8 with a tiny crack running along the top. No cigar.

    The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

    Tell the seller that a panel of numismatic experts examined his photo of the date area on his coin and were unanimous in their conclusion that it is not an 8/7 overdate. Or, better yet, you can just forget it and move on. :)

    This dude is living in a fantasy land. I sent a message to him telling him his quarter is not an overdate. Of course, he insists it is. He has a few non-doubled dies listed as well and his prices are insane!

    Seller's reply:

    "I appreciate your input! I took it down this morning, due to massages about it not being 8 an over 7 date. I believe it is, in my honest opinion. The top of the 7 is fully visible. I can't really get a great picture of it tho. Hard to do with a phone and magnifier. The middle of the 8 is missing also. It doesn't connect, like others I've seen. This puzzles me too.
    Yes, I agree, have it graded!
    Thank you again. Your the most pleasant person I've spoke with so far."
