Old Slab collectors check out this new Columbian half pickup
I don't see many of these around. Is the holder from the 80s or early 90s? Coin looks accurately graded.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Unknown to me.
Me neither. They appear to be out of business so...so much for the "liquidation benefits offered by the company"
New to me as well.
Never seen one nice
That one is also new to me.

Never seen that one.
That one is new to me as well
Thanks for the link!
I have also only seen a few over the years and they do bring a premium (especially for common coins). Nice find!
Your welcome!
Probably from the late 1980s or very early 1990s. I've never seen one before.
That's a neat piece--even cooler because it's a commem.
Here's a Peace that passed through my fingers in 2012 (sold on these boards, IIRC). Note the outer baggy even has the matching cert #

Very interesting... I have not seen that slab before... Must have been a short lived and fairly local operation. Cheers, RickO
here is an odd one i just stumbled across
Those are neat old slabs. There are 4 or so varieties. I'll dig out some images later.

Very cool Astrorat! Any idea around what year this company started certifying coins in these holders?
Good question ... I don't know, however, the slabs have the 'look and feel' of the late 80s to early 90s.

Same feeling.
Thanks for sharing. I'm kind of a slab collector and had never seen one of those.
Looks like the lawyers really went to town on that reverse disclaimer... odd that they felt the need to put that right on the slab.
