2020-S Basketball Hall Of Fame colorized half dollar commemoratives color variations

Received my 2 half dollar colorized coins today. One thing is the color of the basketball and rim are closer than I expected. The rim is barely a little redder.
Now for some fun. When I looked close, I see that one of these is what I will refer to as a wide space-R and single painted rim The other is a narrow space-R and "Double Paint". I did a close up to show the DP. I assume there will be a bunch of these variations, and maybe only some more extreme ones will be worth any premium, but it was sort of cool to find a double paint line.

I presume there will be significantly greater variation in “painted” coins versus die varieties. Wonder how our host and its competitors will grade these coins? Can there be a 70? What if the paint is smeared, or there’s variation like yours? Or the color is off? Or a small drop where it shouldn’t be?
I am curious what graders will do as it was mentioned by Brett, ...... paint matters. LOL

Does anyone know how many of the COA's for the silver dollar were signed by the Mint Director?
Were only the COA's for the silver dollar signed by or were some of those for the other coins in the series signed as well?
Thanks!!
I snagged a couple of the silver dollars, not really interested in basketball coins, but wanted one of those orange boxes.
I’m OK with these honestly, I mean if you look at what Canada has been doing these are tame. They aren’t snowflake shaped or with holograms or glow in the dark.
It's pretty simple, they send them back because they don't accept them for evaluation.
I like to imagine we'd just get back a portrait of an old coin passive aggressively painted on top our modern garbage.
Halloween is coming: These show the technology that is available. I have to admit, these look a lot better than the BB coins. They really are more a combination of art, technology, and bullion than coins, but the bottom one is done on top the obverse of a gold plated 2020 US Silver eagle.

If I recall correctly it was the Canadian Mint that made colorized coins depicting the Aurora Borialis ( Northern Lights) that IMHO did justice to the sun spot created spectacle.
I actually acquired one because it was so innovative and because Northern Lights are frequently seen where I live.
FWIW I would much prefer to see our mint come out with a reissue of State Quarters that have been colorized to enhance the scenic portrayals from the individual states. IMHO they are of much greater artistic merit than the politically correct motivated basketball coins devoid of anything scenic.
