OT, maybe, maybe not: Have you ever felt like you needed a Cape??

I do, every now-and-then, so I decided to buy one for those situations when it almost seems like nothing short of SuperHuman effort will get things done. A speedy shipment from eBay and it arrived today.
I'm going to have my GF sew a big, black "A" on the back!!

Yep, I do feel like my patience is often tested and I must go the extra mile, sometimes, just to get anything accomplished.

I actually met Bela Lugosi around 1955/56
and he scared the shxt out of my 3 or 4 year
old sister that day !
I'd have to wear it as a bib, at this juncture.

I feel as though I have rescued a few people from themselves and their potential poor coin purchasing decisions so I guess I could use a cape every now and then.

Oh yes, the cape. I like me a good cape. Here is one of my first capes in my younger years.

No... Just boots and a shovel
Just be careful where you step in your intergalactic adventures.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
C'mon, CJ, I don't have a gut, my back is arched in classic take-off position. all I need is a little room, three steps and I'm gone like a bullet-with-a-mullet.
Not since I was about 7 years old.
Looks like Cape Cod??

Yup. One of earth's two most recognizable boots
Well, at least its not a Captain Underpants cosplay.

@keets As they say in the South, “that boy ain’t right”. 😊
I wish I could unsee that.
We all have our days when we feel like we're losing it.
I wish I could unsee that.
that makes me think of an old GF who horn-swaggled me into watching "The Piano" one night. Harvey Keitel, really??!!??

Too much weed for you....and to stay on topic who needs a cape when you got a MASK. Stay safe!!!

From prose to pose. Keets covers it here.
Truth be told. For Christmas my mom received a leather cape from a shop in Oldtown Los Gatos in the early 70’s. Authentic hippy garb, though she was far from it.
I probably wore it more than she did, in the privacy of my own home. Pretending I was Elton or Mick.
So yeah, sometimes you just need a cape.
Al, I think the covid culture is taking its toll on you.

never was into such silly ideas , i deal in the real world where things never go to plan, that is why i have backup plans, so if plan A flops i have other ideas on how to get whatever needs to be done done
also i focus on what i can control not what i can't keeps things simple and makes planning easy

The Mysterious Egyptian Magic Coin
Coins in Movies
Coins on Television
silverpop, maybe you might back off just a tad on the serious side and consider that this is ALL in jest. at least that was how it was intended and how i think everyone inferred.
