Can you imagine the sellers fees for this auction on eBay?

TurtleCatTurtleCat Posts: 4,687 ✭✭✭✭✭

I think this is the first time I’ve posted an item pointing to an eBay coin but this one took my breath away. I just can’t imagine hitting the BIN on this one but a guy can dream.

I wonder what kind of fees would be collected?! I’m sure it’s there just for attention but the seller has a lot of expensive stuff listed if it was just for an attention getter.

It really makes no sense to buy a coin on eBay that's being offered by a major dealer with a web site. Just go direct.

She is a looker. I wonder if it has been to CAC? Not that it would make much difference, really.

I know some dealers do this for exposure but it’s a waste of money, especially if you do it with multiple cooks. At least that’s how I see it.

I am really suspicious of this coin... Imaging tools make it look dubios to say the least. But I am no expert on old gold planchettes, maybe they minted with dubious stocks.. .

In the old days on ebay there was a listing fee which was a % of starting bid. Once they did away with that, anyone could list anything with no cost to them unless it sold. There is a lot of clutter on Ebay to prove it. :/
