$20 for any 1988 Donruss common is quite a feat! :p

It is probably likely that you still would have been the underbidder with a 10x multiplier on your bid. I'm betting the winner had a very high snipe entered for that one.

I think if the winner had a snipe in place at the $200+ range, then he would've made an offer to Dan through ebay when he had it listed for $299.

I guess we'll never know unless the winning bidder reveals himself and feels like disclosing his snipe amount.

There was once a dream that was a PSA 10 1988 Donruss Devon White. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile.

Hell of a center fielder and was Top 10 in WAR in the AL in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Blue Jays were world champs in 1992 and 1993.

Saw that most of career memorabilia was auctioned earlier this year by Heritage. Does anyone know what this stuff sold for?
He used one glove during his career which was up for auction. Proceeds went to charity.

Congrats to sea blaster on touching the rainbow

Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

Impressive as it is (pop 2?), I see 45/55 L/R with touches on the right edge.

Call me Ishmael, but I think the white whale still swims.

That is interesting. He is currently a coach with the Toronto BlueJay's AAA affiliate; the Buffalo Bisons. I have heard through many, many people that he is not very fan friendly.
