Another tip.. instead if creating multiple threads in the same day, try asking all your questions in one thread. That way it does not clog up the front page of threads.
Landon,
Are you sure about the W Mint Mark on that coin? The Mint didn't start issuing Proof American Silver Eagles from West Point (W) until 2001. The 2000 Bullion coins were minted at West Point, but there wasn't a Mint Mark.
Added: The Mint made 9,239,132 of the 2000 Bullion ASEs. They are not rare.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
A backwards W is still going to be....a W.
If you have a 2000 ASE with a W on the reverse it is counterfeit.
it has no mint mark
Then why did you call it a 2000W?
2000p has a mint mark > @JBK said:
OK, I'm out.
Please buy a RedBook.
The Millenium Coin and Currency Set had included a dollar bill starting with the serial number 2000XXXX, a Sacagawea dollar and an ASE that was minted at West Point but didn't have a W mintmark.
75,000 2000 Coin & Currency sets were made.
very, very, very, very, very, very rare
