    Five percent beats interest rates right now...Perhaps I should check with my local establishments... Have not heard of that here, and stores seem to be doing OK with change right now....Cheers, RickO

    On Friday, at two different locations about 40 miles apart in Massachusetts, I received a clad Kennedy half in change at each location.
    Perhaps there is a shortage of coins in circulation?

    One scenario could be ... about 6 wks I cashed in 2k in clad Kennedy half dollars.

    Hey, I think that specific bank you mentioned is in Lake Geneva? My excuse to head out there again! Lol. :)
    Also, Coin Star is going to be broke! They are just the opposite. They charge at least 5%.
