    Might be cheaper to just submit the requisite coin that comes back in the orange box, if that's still an option. :)

    Limited-Edition Orange PCGS Box •Any submissions for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame special label will automatically receive a limited-edition Orange PCGS box that can hold 20 standard size slabs.

    But then the person wouldn't have a pretty orange box to put it in. Oh the humanity. They might have to settle on putting it in a blue or black or green or gray or...egad some other generic holder! :o

    We all get a good chuckle from this but how many of your friends and so called family give you a dismissive laugh when you bring up that you’re paying high dollar for a nickel, dime or god forbid, a penny?

    And oh the humility, you spent $9500 on a proof gold spouse you could’ve gotten on eBay for $1200 and still overpaid.
    Unless of course, spot price gold goes to $1200.

    One of my favorite moments of this weird year was the look on my close friend/coworker’s face when he asked what I was shipping at the post office on my lunch break... “Just sold a nickel for a thousand dollars.” :D (P66+ ‘13-D CAC T1 Buffalo toner.)

    Holy crow, I did not notice that. When I searched for it originally I put in "PCGS orange box" in the general search box.

    Well, the orange one could be for red copper. Now we need a brown one for BN/RB copper. And a gold one for gold. And a silver one for silver coinage. And a gray one for copper-nickel coinage.

    For now it's the PCGS orange box since it sold while the PCI box is just listed. If the PCI box sells for $325, then it will take over in the craziest box sale category.
