Just cleanning up and found this.
Seems to be out of place.
Is it just another one of those nickels ?

    No visible mint mark - which would be to the right (as viewed) of Monticello....Just an old nickel. Cheers, RickO

    I see what you’re talking about. It’s just damage that happens to look like a D. It’s just an old nickel. I personally keep all nickels <1960 I run across. I have about a dozen of these.

    Iv spent actual 39-d's that look better than that one, in vf lower, i cant sell them when broken out of jefferson sets that come in.

    It also has rolling machine damage on the left side of Monticello.

    There's a coin shortage going on - let that dog run free and do some good in commerce.
