How about a grade on this one?

I don't know the grade or the seller. I've never known a SLQ that graded below AU and had a Full Head. Look at the shield rivets too. Is the grime hiding the details of an AU?

That doesn't have a full head.

Looks like a lot of corrosion to me. Possible metal detector find?

I grade it lots of problems glad I don't own it.

I question its authenticity.
Me too.
Looks like it might be a ground recovery piece. I'd be concerned about the patch of corrosion at about 2 o'clock on the reverse. The one camera angle has the patch in the background and slightly out of focus... in my opinion...

Well as far as the seller goes, I know who he is and he is a reputable dealer I have done business with him several times. That SLQ has been damaged from a fire or possibly dug up. If it's not considered full head it is really close, but I don't really think it matters much because of the heavy environmental damage.
I think I'd stay away from that one.
Stay away.... that corrosion, crud - whatever it is, could hide a multitude of surface issues.... I would not even consider it. Cheers, RickO
I don't care for that coin at all.
XF details, environmental damage and probably contact damage as well. A dog of a coin.
went in a BU and came out the same.
well, it sort of looks like it may have gone into the ground Brilliant Uncirculated and came out of the ground Beat Up.
