1994 d quarter - strange markings

Hello All, I recently found a quarter with strange markings. There are two of them side by side and they remind me of tornadoes. I looked for these on the internet and bought two books on coin errors. Still no luck. Can anyone tell me what they are??? I would appreciate any help I can get.

I would say it's PMD.

Why did you think something like that would have value (other than face value)?
Definitely PMD.... Review the minting process, it will help you understand the difference between errors and PMD. Cheers, RickO
