Actually, if you like blast white coins be grateful for the "toning fad" as that keeps the bright white coins at depressed prices.

To some extent this is true, but there’s a large but silent group that keeps auction prices for Blast Whites graded by PCGS with CAC’s higher than YOU think. Not anywhere near “gorgeous” PCGS/CAC toners, but higher than many “average/typical” PCGS/CAC toners.
