I cannot guess a grade from those pictures ...too blurry.... but there does seem to be some luster left. Glad you are happy with the coin. Cheers, RickO
I went to GC and took their images to post in this thread for you. I assumed you would not mind since you are showing images of the coin and told us it was a recent purchase from GC.
What the heck, here is the PCGS TV image as well, so one might compare the images. Is one more accurate than the other with the coin in-hand? @keets wants to know!
Hey Tom B thanks for posting the pics! I should have thought of that. Its actually graded 62 ! Dont know why so low. has great luster very few marks and terrific strike. The Truview shows the strike better.

From what I see from your pictures it looks pretty good.
Hard to judge with the pics. I’ll wag a 65.
Can't guess the grade with grainy, blurry and poorly lit photos like that. Hopefully you had a TV to look at.
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
Tough to guess with those pix. 63 FH.

The tape toning is interesting- nice coin

Looks like it might have had a piece of tape on the obverse for many years.
Maybe taped inside a Birthday or Christmas card at one point?
Yes, I cropped it out right after I posted it.

Wow that trueview is amazing!

Okay maybe GC should also be using TV's
I agree, but while that might boost the check sent to consignors, it would inevitably come out of the buyer's pocket.

I think it's a win for all 3 parties involved having a secondary image to aid in gauging what something might look like in hand?
