Thanks for the link.... I have mentioned before, I have an extensive collection of challenge coins (well over 100) and a large, four sided display case (need another, it is full). I find them interesting. I have some that were directly presented, many that I have collected...from politicians, military and professionals....Great area of collecting. Cheers, RickO
I enjoyed the link ... thank you.
Happy you enjoyed his vid. It is a fine area of collecting with a wide variety of issuers.
Some of mine...
Quite interesting. Thanks for posting. I have a collection of 25 or 30 challenge coins. I don't remember any from when I was in (1969-1972) however.
I noticed the 101st Airborne Division coin at the center-bottom of the photo. I have memories of this coin being part of my uniform and in my pants pocket if I was wearing civilian clothes, many years ago. Not having that coin on me when someone else dropped theirs (on purpose or accident) resulted in me doing push-ups or buying drinks, depending on the circumstances. Great pieces of history and tradition! Thanks for posting!
@MidLifeCrisis .... I notice a significant quantity of one professional field...Is it correct to assume you were involved in that area of expertise? Cheers, RickO
