Gold 2020: Coin #59 - Type Set Addition ...Edition 1915 $5 Indian PCGS MS61

Wasn't gonna buy a $5 Indian for awhile. Love this seller and premium was right. I was about to start work in my lab and refreshed the feed and she popped up!!
I'd appreciate any observations any of you have on the features of this coin. I appreciate your helping me learn, and for your candor and expertise.
64 or better of this year are pretty rare. I'll likely not own one for some time so I am very pleased with this purchase.
I think this is an incredibly eye appealing coin! Especially for the grade... I didn't know 61s could look so nice on an incuse design.
The dealbreaker for me would be if the scratches on the right side of the reverse were on the left.
I just love a lot of the reds I see in 15 and they look a little nicer than the earlier ones I've seen lately. There are some reds on quarter eagles around these years that are just meteoric fireballs and that's a little much for me.
Sometimes they have greens but not like the late 1890-1905ish $5 Liberty and they don't seem to be nearly as even, and kinda idk, don't really go much with the design. They are still objectively lovely.
I hope you are all safe and well.
Thank you for joining me on my journey.

Great looking coin with minimum marks. I l like it a lot.

Since you appreciate candor: I don't care for the reeding marks or the hit between the eagle's wing and WE, so probably would have passed on the coin myself. But it does appear properly graded.
You’re on a streak picking of picking up some nice gold. How far along are you on the type set?
To be totally honest I don't like the marks on the rev, they are not out of place for the grade but they would draw my eye every time I looked at it. The obv may have a touch of a weak strike but it almost looks like rub on the cheek, given the close price spread if you paid close to AU money you did well and if it fits your set and your happy that is what is important.

Very nice coin!
Yup, I'm in the "like it" crowd !!!
61’s can hurt my eyes 👀 much more than that one. 👍
I like $5 gold Indian coins....That looks properly graded and I am pleased it does not have extraneous colors. Cheers, RickO
I like it!
