Wanna Grade my 3 RAW Buffaloes?

keyman64keyman64 Posts: 15,650 ✭✭✭✭✭

Yesterday, I photographed coins for the first time in a couple of years. That was an adventure, ugh. I imaged a couple of new items and a bunch of stuff from one of my junk piles. These 3 nickels came from one of my raw junk piles and I pulled them out of their flips. What would you grade the 1915, 1926 and 1936?

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

I would grade them as not junk, put them in a different pile.

Thanks. Well, that's kinda why I photographed them, thinking they might be some of my better junk but still not quite worth sending in to be slabbed. :)

just off the pictures I'd think they all fall between AU58 and MS63, probably the kind of coins that would go in a Dansco if you had a collection of them.

    The 1915 almost looks like a "matte." The other 2 - AU/UNCish.

that's what I thought when I first opened the thread but I figured with "junk pile" in the title the OP knew better. :p

The 1915 and 1926 both have a decent amount of luster that my photography failed to capture (I'm really out of practice!), although more muted than the 1936.

I like them I'm sure you didn't break the bank. This is how I like to shop. Finding something pleasing to the eye without going broke. Lol
Love the 26 the best. B)

@joeykoins I didn't pay anything for them actually. They came to me for free a few years back with a pile of stuff he didn't want to deal with. Lol
