PCGS 3 coin slab!

This is the first time I've seen a 3 coin slab. Not sure sure how I missed these for so long!

It's a nice way to present the 2016 gold centennial set.

    That can be an issue when coins are small relative to the gaskets.

    Yes, it does seem to diminish these IMO. Even the "dime" when held individually is wonderful, but somehow this is lost in this holder.

    Absurd and out of scale, IMO.

    Beautiful coins, though.

    Given the choice, I'd prefer to have each coin in its own individual slab.

    Way too big even if the coins were Morgan sized it would seem out of scale. And black plastic would really help those gold coins to pop.

    It makes a nice display, though a multi coin holder may prove to be a problem on reselling-interest buyers may already have one or two pieces, and not wish to buy three coins when they 'need' only one.

    I prefer the version with a separate grade for each coin. Something about a 'set' grade just rubs me the wrong way. Each coin needs to stand on its own merits.

    I agree the 3 coin holders are cool, especially with 3 gold coins in there.

    IMO most suitable for nice moderns like the Centennial set. I would love to put my Flowing Hair type into such a holder (e.g.) as I think they would look great but they grade differently and, as has been pointed out, not practical when it comes time to sell.

    That's the back of the slab. Perhaps the owner of this slab can show up the front of the slab.

    That's the back of the slab. Perhaps the owner of this slab can show up the front of the slab.

    Then the label is backwards. Personally I would want the front of the coins and the front of the label on the same side.
