    Cool,my daughter lives just 10-15 minutes away in Grapevine.....killing 2 birds has just become much easier.

    For perspective, my current job lets me design the stuff I'd get to watch going into DFW. If I really wanted a job watching airplanes I'd be the groundskeeper for the In And Out across the street from LAX, though I suppose the LAX arrivals do fly right over Beverly Hills...

    Nice airport, flew in and out of there many times. Dallas is a great city, as is Fort Worth nearby. Great location. Cheers, RickO

    Airport is nice as long as you don't have connecting flights at opposite ends. :)

    Yes, those for which the connecting flight is at the same end or anywhere else, other than the opposite end.
    Or even at the opposite end, but in a (much) smaller airport. ;)
