I'm surprised even though it is genuine graded it didn't receive a Full Head designation. Certainly a 1955/55 cent receives the attribution (even if a problem coin and designated at such).
Interesting.

Remember the grade was Genuine UNC Details, Surfaces Smoothed. Now how do you think the guy did that and why? The coin is so good looking, why risk it?
There may have been excessive marks or even graffiti in the fields and a skilled coin doctor used a burnishing tool to smooth those areas. It is probably visible with the coin in hand under good lighting.

If an SLQ gets a details grade, it does not get the FH modifier even if clearly FH.
The 1955/55 you cited is a die variety, which has nothing to do with the grade. That’s why it always receives the 1955/55 on the label.

You'd think. He's got everything else listed properly. Maybe he has a new assistant.

I'm surprised Glenn would list a coin this way!

Thanks for the post. It was great to study the big Trueview from this example.
Now that's the definition of a 100% full head.
