Zoom Coin Club meeting

Do any forumites want to actually have a face-to-face Zoom meeting? It might be fun. I have access to a corporate account and could set one up.

Actually, our local club has been doing it every week since the shutdown. People could do educational presentations using Powerpoint or something like that.
People could actually just meet and have a drink together. Some colleagues of mine have been meeting every Wednesday evening to have a virtual drink together for more than 2 months.

LOL. You can always turn off your camera so you are only transmitting audio.

I have been in a couple zoom gatherings since the pandemic and have enjoyed them. They were with people I have known most of my life. Not sure how it would go with strangers but I would give it a try if I was available.
The nice thing about a Zoom meeting is you can always hang up with the click of a mouse. LOL

Make sure you turn off the camera or cover it if you're not wearing your shirt or pants! One time a guy got up to get something. He had the nicest shirt on but no pants!!
We've been doing our coin club meetings on Zoom since April.
If enough folks had interest, I'd probably drop in.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
I think I’d drop in if the time worked out factoring time zones and bed time routines for young ones.

The West coast thing is tough. How do East Coasters feel about 9 pm (6 pm West Coast)? Maybe a Friday night or Saturday? Bring your favorite drink. Even the Banned may attend.

Friday or Saturday at 9:00 pm Eastern is fine for me.

My Navy shipmates and I have been having video meetings weekly for several years now... We do use Zoom now and it works quite well. As a matter of fact, tonight is our meeting at 7 EST...Cheers, RickO
