I’m really surprised quarter rant

jabbajabba Posts: 3,177 ✭✭✭✭✭

I’m working on a Washington quarter year set 32-current. I’ve been working on the 32-64 get the hard ones done first I thought but to my surprise I’m having a harder time finding nice high grade 65-2019 I was thinking the modern post silver would be easier and cheaper to find at higher grades, I stand corrected! Im not paying $$$ for post silver so this might just be a pain in the Bleep 🤬

I have heard that the upper grade current coins were expensive...not sure why - either mint quality or demand....Cheers, RickO

No one saved them, so they are hard to find in high grade. Mint sets are the best source, but even mint sets in the early clad years were not that great either.

Are you looking for raw or graded. Pretty sure I have several sets in tubes somewhere going up through the 80's or early 90's from sets I broke up. Seems like quite a few of them are pretty nice...but I haven't looked at them in years!
