    Someone crack it open and do a swap? My understanding is that it’s possible to do a swap of coins in those holders.

    Nothing is wrong with the picture. Now, the proof set itself? Yeah, seems to be the cent and nickel along with the dime and half dollar and Ike are in the wrong year set.

    Yep. Lol That was my question? Is it easy to crack out, without destroying the set? This was at the shop I go. The owner showed me. I myself, wasn't sure? I know about most proof sets can easily be broken into. but these, I was hesitant. She and I thought It could possibly be a mistake from the Mint? I'll let her know. Who in the world would want a '78 that bad? Thanks guy's. ;)

    If there's a market for such things, I have a whole box of error sets as part of an estate I'm handling.

    A '77 quarter indicates it has been opened and the original taken out...likely submitted to get a DCAM grade....Cheers, RickO
