What is Your Favorite Modern Commemorative?

The Dolley Madison would have to rank right up there with one of my favorite moderm commemoratives.

I do like the Dolley Madison, but my favorite is last years Apollo 11 coin. I love the subject matter of that one.

The Dolly Madison commemorative is one of the few coins that shows a private company. The "T&Co." logo on the reverse is for Tiffany and Company. The only other coin that shows a private company is the Franklin half dollar which has "Stow and Pass" on the Liberty Bell on the reverse who made the Liberty Bell. I can't think of any other US coins with a private company shown on the coin.

The US Marshall 50c coin design is just so bonkers I can’t help but to like it.

In August, it will be two years. Hoping it becomes a "condition rarity" piece someday! :D

My favorite modern commem would be one that I could trade for a classic commem.

I like this one because of the subject matter.

I guess I don't have one. I've never paid modern commems any attention.

On second thought, maybe the Apollo. I did get a couple of those. It seemed like something worthy of commemoration.

This 1989-S Congress Dollar is among my favorites because of the perfectly positioned toning. I have others but need to look them up.

Those are cool. I just put two of them on the BST though.

This is my favorite (obverse at least) for its symbolism, and the interesting composition of using barbed wire in a manner similar to stars.
