Things seem to be trending my way, how 'bout you??

As a buyer it always has seemed that there are more coins that I'm attracted to than I can afford. That only strikes me as normal and probably how it is for most every collector. After all, better and more beautiful is usually more expensive, right?? Lately it has struck me that although I have always had "top shelf interests on a bottom shelf budget" it now is changing. The coins I couldn't afford are within reach, the ones that I hesitate on are now just a "stretch" away from being mine. I call it blue-collar collecting and suddenly it isn't a bad thing.
Can you post an image of a coin you've bought in the last few years that had previously seemed out of reach?? Thanks in advance.

Too many to show. Decline in prices of most high-grade type + more disposable income = coins I could only dream of as a kid.
It’s nice to be able to assemble a collection you only dreamed about as a kid collector.
The coins I have acquired are mostly raw widgets. Thus they are not very expensive and I have not had to stretch for them.
That explains why I have so many duplicates.
Yes, there have to be some compensations for bad knees and being afraid to leave the house without a mask, or with one in some cases.
Things seem to be going my way but I'm putting in the work and research and time so that's always good. Making progress.
Back in April I was making a killing on sub melt eagles and best offer was like shooting fish in a barrel. I'm still finding great deals. It takes a lot of refreshing and sifting but it has paid off.
If you think this is good, wait until all the covid19 estates get out of probate. Gonna see a ton of coins coming out in the next year that would not have seen the light of day otherwise.
Honestly I never thought I'd own any gold coins until a little later in life. How things change...
Wow. Looks like Scrooge McDuck's vault.
Well... The PanPac Octagonal still seems out of reach for me...
Just cannot stretch quite that far...Cheers, RickO
I was planning to acquire a "complete" set of 2 Cent Pieces with all major varieties in AU, and that might have been a stretch at that time. Things have totally changed since than, never thought in a million years that I would ever be able to afford such a coin.
That 1872 is the prettiest 2c I've seen. Looks so much like a proof.
The coins I’m after still haven’t come in yet. Then again even if they do I’m not certain I will fire the cannon.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
That 1872 MS65 2c is a beauty!
I know, it does look prooflike!
When I hit the button to purchase the coin I was on the edge if maybe someone had made a mistake.....I think it has to be a business strike.
It went from PCGS, CAC, Heritage and than to DLRC (this is where I bought in)….maybe minted with proof dies?
I've gotten a few lately that years ago wouldn't have been possible...
