Coin Roll Hunting/ Nice surprise

I just wanted to show off what I found last week in a nickle roll. I was grocery shopping at Food Lion when I decided to get a few rolls from them. Later on that night I opened up the nickle roll and surprise this was coin #2 I pulled out.

Just wanted to share. Thank you

Cool! Nice find and welcome to the forum. :)
One suggestion, press down those pointy staples. You don't want to "scratch "any other coins that may rub against it? :)

Nice find! I've been putting dateless Buffalos in rolls for the last couple of years. Just hoping to spark some young person's interest in the hobby.

Pure collecting right there. Something magical about pulling a neat coin from a roll. I have a whole box of goodies from my roll searching days, and I put the date on the flips as well.

Finding any Buffalo Nickel these days is unusual. Finding one issued before 1934 with a fully readable date is exceptionally unusual!

Great that you rescued that Buffalo from the range.

They very occasionally show up-my son found a VG-Fine 1923 last year. And every now and then I will spend a common one with a partial date.

@Tlc1979.... Welcome aboard....Really nice roll find... Buffs are super scarce in commerce these days...I have not seen one in over a year. Cheers, RickO
