Dime restoration help

I just bought a pcgs ms67 fb roosevelt dime with a black speck that has a light tan ring around it. I saw it in the large photos, it is visible though not distracting. I was thinking about having it restored to remove the tan ring and hopefully the speck. The coin is white so there would be no toning issues. Does this sound like a good candidate for restoration?. It is a low pop coin so I don't want the problem to get any worse.

I’d say yes. I think the speck comes off easier than the ring though. Also, you have the coin in hand to know best but white and just a touch yellow are two different things that are sometimes tough to differentiate. My guess is if you spot treated it there’d be a noticeable difference. Doubtful they’ll spot treat it but worth noting the color may change a bit.
Maybe it's my age lol. Where is the speck?
Just leave it as is. Don't start wasting money on "restoration" of coins that are already in high grade, major brand, TPG holders. If the spot really bothers you, just sell it and move on. In the end it is just a common date Roosevelt dime.
I assume it's the one on the nose.
I would leave it as is!
Even if the black carbon speck is removed, the surrounding discoloration shall remain with a new different color surface spot where the speck used to be. Your call. Peace Roy

I would say your two best choices are leave it as is or sell it and buy one you like. Obviously the spot bothers you, and whenever you look at that coin, that will be your immediate focus. Your choice, good luck...Cheers, RickO
It looks ok to me
Common coin. Get another one if it bothers you.
