Draped Bust Halves, All the Same Grade, GTG, (Answer added first, and most recent posts)

Inspired by Ikeigwin, and his spectacular Bust Half threads. I liked the opportunity to grade using MULTIPLE coins to compare and contrast. (Granted, these probably don’t qualify as “spectacular”. )
Twist: All EXCEPT ONE of the following coins have the same grade. The odd-man-out was evaluated as “Genuine, Cleaning, xx Details”, but could realistically have the same grade without the cleaning(?).
- All are PCGS graded now, despite the holders they were in when photographed.
- I apologize for the different picture quality. Some are seller pictures, some are my poor attempts.
So:
- What is “The Grade”?
- Which is the Genuine/Cleaned coin?
- Feel free to "think out loud" so others can learn from your logic, and thoughts on the coins.
1) 1803, Large 3, O-103:
2) 1805, O-111:
3) 1806/5, large stars, O-103
4) 1806, knob 6, stem, small stars, O-105
5) 1806, pointed 6, no stem, O-??? (haven’t looked yet)
(New purchase, arrived today)
6) 1806, pointed 6, w/stem, O-116
SPOILER BELOW:
- F-15 is the grade.
- The Cleaned Coin is #3, the 1806/5.

No. 2 looks glossy to me, I'll guess that one is VF details.
I agree with Bill as to VF20 for the others.
I'll guess vf20, and the "cleaned" coin is #3, just because it has such an even overall tone.
I would "guess" but that would be cheating as I was eyeing your NEWP (#5 in your first post) on eBay before you bought it. I ended up buying a different one, same grade but different look. Supposed to arrive Monday. Here are a couple of pics of mine:
That's an honest coin too!
Is that a "no stems" coin? That was the attribute that most interested me, since I'm shooting for the "Redbook Varieties". (I'm replacing a "graffiti" coin that didn't make the cut for the purposes of this post.
)
Yes it's a no stems. I was debating between this one and yours, and I debated too long, which made the choice easier!
I'm in at 20.
VF20 feels right to me.
Is the glossy 05-111 the cleaned one? Could be the 03-103. Hard to say from the different images.

Nice coins Tommy, I saw some of these on the market so I did not respond. These are no doubt tough to grade, they all are on the F15/VF20 borderline, and I think you got some good value for your money.
How did I miss the bit about the outlier? Guess I just read the title and went to the pictures!
I think most people did that. There weren't a lot of "cleaning" guesses.
I can't blame those who picked the 1805 as the problem child. It does look a bit rough, and smoothed, at the same time. Still rather attractive in hand.....but adds to my firm belief that the 1806/5 deserves another grading attempt.

I guessed #3 was the cleaned one mainly because I took some cleaned coins that I bought years ago and put them in a cardboard box and basically forgot about them. When I looked at them not too long ago, a couple had a similar appearance. I didn't see any real "tells" otherwise.
That's a nice group of DB halves!
