Another all the same grade. What is it? And which two are pluses? ANSWER IN FIRST POST.

Here are nine bust halves all graded the same by PCGS. Two are "plus". What grade and which are pluses?
ANSWER
Congrats to all those who chose MS63. But kudos to those who saw the better and weaker ones.
The 2nd 1827 is indeed one of the 63+ coins. I love the look. Interestingly, it was an ebay coin that upgraded from 62.
The other 63+ was a sleeper. The 1831. Bought as a 62 at the summer ANA show a couple of years ago. I think PCGS liked its originality. Not dipped and retoned as so many "lookers" are. Pluses, in this series, seem to have moved from eye appealing to original lately.
The 1822 is among my favorites. From the Keith Davignon collection. As the consigner, Sheridan Downey said, "There is not a hint of friction on the devices; contact marks are virtually non-existent. The strike is first rate. It was part of the George Plimpton family Hoard...in the 1981 NASCA sale of the Providence Collection."
The 1824 is another ex-Davignon. Aquamarine toning but with a little strike weakness.
The other '27 (the first) was bought as a 61. Great luster and surfaces.
The first '32 was an ebay ICG MS62 I bought for a song. I cracked it. Sometimes you get lucky.
The 2nd '32 came from the Dale Friend collection. The large letters variety with a huge, advanced reverse die break. Tiny spots above eagle's head aren't too distracting.
Finally, the 1835, another Charles Link coin. A little softness to the strike. But I think it's pretty.
Thanks for playing. I have some other ideas for Bust Half fun. But maybe I've played them out.
Lance.

hard to believe they all grade the same. 1st (1822) and 4th (2nd 1827) get the plusses.
I'll go with MS-64.
Awesome coins!

The second 1827 and the 1829 get plus grades.... Really tough to see them all get the same grade...So, I will hazard a guess at 63....Cheers, RickO
The 22 & the 2nd 27 get the pluses. All beautiful pieces, Lance. They all look 64 to me.
22 and 29 are pluses and MS64, l
Lance you have the most beautiful bust halves, I truly love seeing them.

for the + grades, might as well use one of these
Just face it Lance, you're just showing off, Right?
Beautiful busts and I have no clue as to how to answer your original questions.
I'd go with that too. But I like the 1824 as well......pretty close to the colorful 1827. The 1822 looks essentially like a 65 on all the merits....minimal rub too.
22 and 24 pluses. Fantastic group Lance.

The 2nd coin 1824 and the 2nd 1827 were the plus coins (?) and they are all MS64's (though I don't quite see them that way myself). Great looking coins!

The 1827 (2nd coin) and the 1822 are pluses IMHO.
No one picked the first '32.... what a shame.

The ‘22 and the ‘29 get the +

I am going to say these are all 63s. The 1822 and 2nd 1827 with the rim toning get the pluses.

1829 and 32.
The one with missing letters due to the weakly struck reverse? It's a nice coin, but a 63+ has claims to near gem status.
Those look nicer than the 61s so I'll say 63.

Gorgeous set of coins. I really like the look of that '31. Glad to see it got a plus.
I love all these guesses for the +'s. Ya'll should just do it like PCGS does....place all the dates on a spinning wheel and throw a dart at it!
Nice coins all.
