New Proof Cameo Pickup/Practicing With The Camera

I got this at the B&M the other day- it's a strongly contrasted 1953 quarter, with frosty devices and deep, watery mirrors. I'm still learning to shoot proofs, but I think I got it pretty close to what one of the DCAM trueviews on CoinFacts looks like:

Nice coin! ... Nice pics.
Very nice - I'd buy those all day, if you can find them.

Very nice. Looks quite clean also.
I like it!
Nice coin and the cameo shows well but the fields are so dark that if there were a hairline or spot it would never be visible. Just a lighting issue IMO.
Nice pics!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I think a little more light would help. Indirect lighting works well for cameos.
What a great picture....really brings out the beauty of a proof Washington quarter....Cheers, RickO
That one is very nice

Looks nice! Diffuse the light a little more. You want to reduce the contrast on these to get better detail of the fields (if that makes any sense) and things that are now in the shadows without blowing out the highlights.
