Love my Ram...wish they still made them with a column shifter instead of a knob now. Won't be getting rid of my '12 until it blows up.

Finding such on the ground is awesome. My daughter found an 1889 IH off the ground at a park, they were doing some ground work that involved moving a few Indian burials.

That coin has not been circulating for 111 years, but nice find. Probably someone dumped it out in change.

Wow... Super find Bob.... and I was going to post about the 1924 wheatie I got in change yesterday....but yours blows that away... Cheers, RickO

Amazing. I could never find one as a Whitman hole-filling roll freak in the 50's. Buy a lottery ticket!

  • airplanenutairplanenut Posts: 22,374 ✭✭✭✭✭

That's awesome! I haven't seen a wheatie in change in I don't know how long (though to be fair, I rarely see change...). I did once get a 1909 (non VDB) in change when I was a kid, but it was at the coin shop, so it's not the same. And back then (wow! I'm old enough to reference "back then") wheaties still made an appearance every once in a while.

    Kool find...
I remember once finding a 09 plain Lincoln (non-vdb) while going through about $25 of rolls I got from the bank. Coin was not too bad, just dark and a little porous.
