In your opinion, which modern commemorative would look actually pretty decent in worn FN15 (or so)?

Curious which modern commemorative would look good in a smooth, worn condition?

What's the over/under on the number of Eunice Shriver jokes in this thread?
The Baseball commemorative.

The Apollo...can a curved coin wear down evenly to a F15?

Oops...didn't see your response. I assume you picked this coin for the same reason I picked the Apollo, because it's convex?

My thoughts exactly. One side heavy at center, the other heavy on the rims.

The 1982 Washington commemorative half IMO.
If we went to gold commems, I’d suggest the 1986 $5 Statue of Liberty would look good worn - but what a shame.
Agreed.. and its the only half that’s silver so it should wear a bit quicker than clad. Second place goes to the 1995 Civil War half dollar
1993 commemorative half was also silver.

Maybe Leif Erickson for the silver dollar.
Ah shoot. You beat me to it, although those might not look good until they were in the PO01 range.
Modern commem???
No idea. I don’t really think too many of them look good to start with, so my negative bias makes it hard to guess.
The 2009 UHR would be pretty cool worn, but I doubt there are too many people carrying those as pocket pieces.
After reading the inscription on the reverse of this coin, I would guess this coin is not popular with most Native Americans.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

1996 smithsonian silver dollar. Reverse would wear like a walking liberty half. Obverse would wear like a memorial cent reverse.
I honestly do not think coins worn to that condition look good...and would not purchase one. Cheers, RickO
