I would be worried It would turn in the holder

I stopped in a little grocery store off the Delmont Exit of the PA turnpike. I bought a bag of potatoes, a jar of honey, and took two pictures of this penny art. This was the first one I saw.

...that’s dope man!
This was the second one. The cashier/owner saw me taking a pic of this one. It was meant as a compliment, and thankfully she took it that way. We had a nice chat about how these covid face masks we all have to wear were so tough to breathe with. She told me that the mona lisa was put together with different panels against a sheet of plywood. I didn't tell her I was a coin collector, but I could appreciate why there was. "Do NOT touch" sign.
Cool! As I look at this I'm thinking of different ways to do it. Maybe make the Zincolns would stay shinier longer and use copper for the portrait? Hmmmmm......
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
If you take a closer look, there are some bright green cents at the edge of the portrait.
Good catch. I think my eye ignored that as a reflection.

I can see something like that being featured on "Antiques Roadshow" at some time in the future. I'd call it a form of folk art.
Nice!
Acrylic lacquer.
OMG, wonderful !!!
I try not to 'impulse buy' items.... but I know I would have been sorely tempted on that one...nice price for all that work. Cheers, RickO
Now there is a coronavirus quarantine project for you! I like both a lot.
I might be wrong, but the coins with the green maybe coming from oxidation from the sled and electrical on the other side adjacent
