1889-CC Morgan, Authentic?

Hi everyone,
I have this 1889-CC morgan being offered to me as part of a trade, could I get opinions on authenticity. I don't really collect American Coins, more into Canadian stuff, so I'm not too familiar with the tells of a fake morgan. I know that this date is heavily faked, so I just want to make sure.
Appreciate any help!
Thanks in advance!

The "89" bug me a bit, yet could simply be the angle of the photo. Otherwise appears to be a genuine CC Morgan dollar.

Unless I am just completely missing something, it looks pretty good to me.
Looks OK to me

Thanks for the quick replies. Here are closeups of the 1889
A nice fine, genuine example.
Any thoughts on grade? I'm thinking it would go VF, does that sound about right to people?
Thanks!
Looks OK to my eyes
I would say it looks VF20 - 25
Looks authentic and based on the pictures, VF is likely.... Cheers, RickO
Looks real to me.

Yes, looks authentic, 9 slightly higher than the 8 in date. Good chance at VF25, hopefully the rim discolor/bump at 8:00 is not raised too much. Nice coin otherwise. Good luck
It looks ok to me
Looks ok to me ... the only thing I don't like is the staples not being flat, be careful.
Looks ok, but I would only buy a certified 89cc.

A lot of 1889-CC dollars have been cleaned (in a dumb attempt to make them appear higher grade).
But that is a genuine unmolested one.
Looks good to me
Looks fine. Looks Very Fine. No issues that I see...

It looks genuine but I don't like the rim bump. I'd stick to examples that have already been slabbed and have straight grades.
Looks VF25 to me.
Timmy bumps are an instant turn off for me. It will be the first thing many people will see. Wait for s better opportunity imo. Good luck with the search
Rim bumps. Damn spellcheck!
looks authentic.
See this one, similar look and wear, could see this in vf plastic

Thanks for the help guys!
I ended up pulling the trigger, I think this was a mutually beneficial deal. I got to trade some of my more common Canadian Silver for a rarer type coins. I may end up selling this one though, in hopes of upgrading to a better example. Here are some pics, excuse the poor photography!
