Neat video.... When I lived in Seattle, the Blue Angels would come every year for their Sea Fair festival...Saw some great flying acrobatics....Cheers, RickO

pretty cool, I really enjoy watching aircraft take-off. to be honest, though, it doesn't compare to being on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during flight-ops or recovery. B)

My cousin works at Barnes ANG. He has some great videos of those F-15s taking off. I much prefer the F-15s we have there now compared to the old A-10s that used to be stationed there.

I believe F-15 jets from the 104th Fighter Wing will be over Boston today, not the Blue Angels nor the Thunderbirds.

I think I seen them in KC while I was driving thru, several years ago. They were practicing for an air show on Saturday. Don't believe these were the blue angels or the thunderbirds.

Blue Angels (Navy) are F/A-18s, and Thunderbirds (Air Force) are F-16s. Other areas are having local squadrons conduct fly-overs. Seattle has two C-17s flying over the area on Friday from a base just south of the city.

A lot of nice 'Eagles' posted here.
    Here's another Eagle

    104th Fighter Wing F-15C-38-MC Eagle 84-0016

    Some background info:

The multi-color 104th Emblem is proudly worn by both the 131st Fighter Squadron and the 104th Fighter Wing, and has a symbolic meaning as explained below:

Blue and Yellow: the Air Force colors
Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations
Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel
Aircraft in Cloud: Represents the primary mission - combat capability through air power
Bolt of Lightning: Represents the eagerness to strike
Five Stars: Represents the 131st Fighter Squadron, symbolized by their 1-3-1 configuration
Crown & Crown Points: Represents the ethnic diversity of the men and women who founded the 104th
Two Fleur-de-lis: Represents the unit deployments to and from France during the 1961 blockade of Berlin by the Soviet Union
Emblem designed by: MSgt. Robert J. Della Penna, Original artwork by: SSgt. Donald Bein, Computer Generated by: MSgt. Robert J. Sabonis

The 104th Fighter Wing (104 FW) is a unit of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, stationed at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport (Barnes Air National Guard Base), Westfield, Massachusetts. When activated to federal service, the Wing is gained by the United States Air Force Air Combat Command.

In its dual state mission, the 104th Fighter Wing is an Air Force component of the Massachusetts National Guard.

When the Super Bowl was hosted at the Levis Stadium, the Blue Angels appeared in formation three different times over my house. The last time they did that, I happened to be outside, and they swooped down to less than 1000 feet!

While you saw the F-15s, I saw my favourite modern USAF CAS aircrafts - 2 A-10 Warthogs flew over the house a while ago. The plane itself is rather ungainly and ugly but that GAU-8 30mm Gatling gun is one of the best weapons a soldier on the ground has. Curiously I have gotten to yack with the pilots a few months ago.

Oh Beale AFB! I miss being a kid on that base back in the day, had the run of the SR, the Buff, the F-102, the C-141.
