Help with an 1895-P Morgan

Hello everyone. I had someone recommend I try these forums as there are quite a few experts here.
A friend of mine found this coin.
I was wondering how I can tell the authenticity of the coin?
It seems to be worth substantial value if real, but I cannot find any references on how to tell a real version from a counterfeit and it seems it is highly counterfeit due to the possible price.

Thank you. Is there a reference or website you have that I may view to gather information?

I apologize if I wasn't clear in my ask A site that I can view real vs. fake and the identifiers for each. Your help is appreciated!
Braddick is just being sarcastic.
Short answer: not really, there are sites that will point out basic details but building a deep, generalizable understanding comes with some experience that most easily (in my opinion) comes by looking at a significant number of real coins.
Just a side-note about this coin in particular: 1895-P coins are always proofs, and proofs generally have a distinct visual characteristic.
A couple of resources that provide high resolution images of your particular coin:

You can access even higher resolution images in the first link if you create an account (free, no fees, highly reputable auctioneer).
Perhaps start with the basics, by weighing and measuring it. Try a magnet just to see if it's made of silver plated steel....Then you can get fancy by doing a specific gravity test (always fun to do)

Then if all check out post the pics here for another set of eyes.

The coinfacts site linked above will show you genuine examples.
There appear to be at least 2 different genuine date positions.

Where did your friend get this coin?

What @AUand AG said.
The coin is unquestionably a counterfeit with no numismatic value.

Your link is real good stuff. Congrats to you.

@CIG.... Welcome aboard...Yes, your coin is a counterfeit... and the links provided by @yosclimber and @stealer - along with the video provided by @AUandAG will give you guidance in identifying the various points. Good luck... Cheers, RickO
Welcome to the forum!
It may not have numismatic value. But, it certainly has some value just being a fake of a scarce date with a small mintage....especially if made out of silver. Well made fakes, or vintage fakes often command some nice premiums.
BTW - I think wish.com is a site where you can buy these. If not, try alibaba... You can see more fakes there for comparison.
Here is another one for comparison.

Thank you everyone for all the videos and websites, they really help. It's incredible, to an untrained eye, how well things look.
Perry, it's clear based on the replies that the story told to me was erroneous, I find no need to repeat it.
I do have my own collection, although I have just randomly bought over the years and will post it in time.
Thank you again everyone, I really appreciate your help!
welcome, enjoy
