Stellas are fascinating coins (although I may be biased given my forum handle)! The contrast on this piece is especially attractive.

A truly beautiful specimen....One always wonders how such a coin was preserved in that condition. Was it a gift for someone, straight from the mint? Was it saved by a mint employee? Did a collector get it directly from the mint and preserve it? There is always a story, though some are lost in the mists of time....
