A truly beautiful specimen....One always wonders how such a coin was preserved in that condition. Was it a gift for someone, straight from the mint? Was it saved by a mint employee? Did a collector get it directly from the mint and preserve it? There is always a story, though some are lost in the mists of time.... Cheers, RickO
Why pay that much for it? I got a few of them at the bank for face value and spent one on coffee this morning.
All jokes aside that’s a beautiful coin.

Stellas are fascinating coins (although I may be biased given my forum handle)! The contrast on this piece is especially attractive.

The Stella used to be the trophy coin to get. Maybe that changed when it became known that one could find a Stella in a trash dump?
That is a coin I have never owned, and probably never will unless I came into a good sum of extra funds
Wow ... That's a beautiful coin.

that coin is in an amazing state of preservation and I hope the new owner enjoys it. Any gold in UCAM or DCAM looks good to me!
