As I recall, It seemed original to me. Sold it raw, so don't know if anyone ever submitted it. Have noticed a number of 1916 Lincolns from all mints with blue-ish tone over the years. Not sure if coincidence or some particular reason.

Consigned this 1862 3c silver to a 2004 Stack's auction as PCGS-65. Felt it should have graded MS-66 when sent in, but it did bring closer to 66 money at the time, so it worked out. Stack's accurately called the reverse "vibrant electric blue with some areas of lilac".
