I won’t be going to any major shows until there is a vaccine. Maybe a smaller regional show with super sized wide aisles where I can control the distance.

I'm guessing the first show after this clears is going to be completely jam packed (if that's even allowed at that time).
I disagree. Once the economy opens up, many people will still be hesitant to join a crowded event such as a coin show.

I feel bad for tens of millions who have had their lives ruined, even though they had a better chance of winning the lottery than having covid-19 hurt them.
You may have to get 2 lottery tickets.

Many collectors will really be missing the face to face experience a coin show brings to the hobby. They will want to attend and will downplay any risks. I won't be surprised if shows have good attendance as soon as they resume.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions is roughly 1/300 million. The population of the U.S. Is 330 million, and there have already been more than 40,000 Covid-19 deaths. Your assertion is grossly inaccurate.
Although my crystal ball has always had clouds in it, I would still venture a prediction that shows will likely start up again around August/September time frame... Sure, many attendees may still wear masks, but by then, I believe most of the country will be easing back into pre-covid19 normalcy.... JMO.... Cheers, RickO

Flunked Math?
Roughly 330M in the US and the Powerball odds are usually quoted 330M:1.
As of this afternoon, 49,651 have died in the US. So the odds of dying from COVID-19 stand at 49651x worse.

Agreed. Without the social distancing we would we seeing millions of deaths or even tens of millions, on par with the Spanish Flu pandemic. Understanding of exponential math, sadly, seems to be in short supply in this nation.

On the bright side all of the added PPE would help to guard against mustard stains.

Get the bright yellow hazmat suit, and you won't even be able to see the mustard stains.
